ARESTIN

ARESTIN is an antibiotic that is added to scaling and root planing (SRP)

DESENSITIZER

Reduces or eliminates pain quickly with long lasting effects

FLUORIDE VARNISH

A highly concentrated form of fluoride which is applied to the tooth’s surface, by a dentist, dental hygienist or other health care professional, as a type of topical fluoride therapy

FULL MOUTH DEBRIDEMENT

Removal of plaque and calculus that interfere with the ability of the dentist to perform a comprehensive oral evaluation

PERIODONTAL MAINTENANCE

Also known as a “regular cleaning”

POLISHING

The act of smoothing the tooth surface, the purpose of polishing is to make it difficult for plaque to accumulate on the tooth surface area

SCALING AND ROOT PLANING

Cleaning between the gums and the teeth down to the roots, a local anesthetic may be needed to numb your gums and the roots of your teeth
